Pelican’s Health Care Speaker’s Op-Ed in Shreveport Times

Asserts five myths regarding health care reform

As the U.S. House of Representatives approaches a repeal vote on ObamaCare, Michael Tanner used an op-ed in this morning’s Shreveport Times to correct what he believes are prevailing myths of the legislation. (Click the banner for the op-ed.)

Tanner asserts that the rhetoric of the debate is bound to create even more misunderstanding. To provide an antidote, Tanner attacks five misperceptions: ObamaCare is universal; individuals may retain their current medical plans; the federal deficit and personal premiums will be reduced; and the law is “consumer friendly.”
